Hey, I'm Christian

Frontend dev with an eye for design.

Head shot of me, Christian Ferrer

I kicked off my web career doing both UX/UI design and frontend development. As I progressed, I became more frontend-focused with a preference to be in the code. With that design intuition, I'm able to make developer descisions that align with the original design intent. Today, my strength is being able to take a design system or visual concept and bring it to life as intended.

Recent Projects

Translating design to code.

Below are a few recent projects I contributed to. I implemented design systems using modern CSS workflows, built reusable Vue and Laravel components with semantic HTML, and incorporated ADA/WCAG compliance throughout. Having design experience, I also adapted designs for responsive behavior and real-world content, extending them as needed without requiring additional design input.

Experience

I tend to stick around.
